Both men and women suffer from unsightly leg veins which can be treated with the NDYAG Laser, Sclerotherapy or a combination of both.

Spider veins which are small, dilated, superficial veins on the legs are a common problem, particularly in women after pregnancy. These unwanted blood vessels often occur as an inherited tendency, or may be part of the aging process.

Large varicose veins are most often treated surgically. But certain small superficial veins, called telangiectasias, are best treated with Sclerotherapy or Laser.

How is the procedure performed?

During a Sclerotherapy laser leg vein treatment, larger veins are usually treated first. A sclerosing solution is injected into the vein with a micro-needle. The solution causes the vein to turn white and then gradually disappear.

How long does a treatment take?

A typical laser leg vein treatment lasts from 30 – 60 minutes. Approximately 3-4 treatments are generally required for optimal results. Micropore is placed securely onto each injection site immediately after treatment and patients will be asked to ensure that legs remain elevated for the evening. No excessive exercise is permitted for 24 hours post treatment.

What results can I expect?

A noticeable improvement can be observed after several treatments. It is important to note “touch-up” treatments may be required from time to time as new spider veins appear.

A treatment to stimulate hair growth and repair damaged hair

Mesohair is used for the bio stimulation of hair follicles. With the use of a meso needle adapter, the skin of the scalp is punctured whilst injecting the mesohair solution.

How many treatments are required?

Treatment protocol includes a treatment every 2 weeks for the first 3 treatments and thereafter once a month for 3 months.

Who should get mole mapping done?

If any of the following questions apply to you, have your moles checked by your physician:

• Do you have multiple moles (more than 50)?
• Is there a history of skin cancer in your family?
• Did you have already a melanoma?
• Do you have large moles (diameter more than 2 inches)?
• Have you noticed any changes in your moles?
• Have you noticed any new mole on your body?
• Did you have sunburns during childhood or adolescence?
• Do you have very light skin?

How can suspicious moles be recognized?

The ABCDE rule helps you to recognize suspicious moles. Moles which show one or more of the signs below have to be treated with utmost attention and should be observed:

• A for Asymmetry
• B for irregular, blurred or jagged Borders
• C for Colour variation
• D for Diameter larger than ¼ inch
• E for Elevation especially when uneven
